Οι Apparently Dead είναι μια ελληνική progressive , power metal μπάντα από την Αθήνα. Η μπάντα συγκροτήθηκε το 1988 παίζοντας thrash metal με επιρροές από Sodom , Kreator , Destruction κλπ. , ενώ αργότερα κινήθηκε σε πιο progressive - power μονοπάτια ακλουθώντας μπάντες όπως οι Fates Warning , Savatage , Queensryche , Helloween κλπ. Είχαν εμφανιστεί ζωντανά σε πολλές συναυλίες με γνωστά σχήματα της ελληνικής σκηνής εκείνης της εποχής όπως οι Flames , Deceptor , Epidemic , Sound of Silence με αποκορύφωμα τη συμμετοχή τους το 1991 στο δεκαήμερο φεστιβάλ της Μολων Λαβε Rec. Διαλύθηκαν το 1998, και επανασυνδέθηκαν το 2013 συνεχίζοντας στο ίδιο μοτίβο. Το συγκρότημα μέχρι τώρα δεν κατάφερε να κυκλοφορήσει κάποια ολοκληρωμένη δουλειά. Έκαναν ντεμπούτο με το τραγούδι “Where the sun never rises” στη συλλογή της Μολων Λαβε records “Screwing the sane” το 1991 και ηχογράφησαν δύο ακυκλοφόρητα demos (1993 & 1997). Σήμερα οι Apparently Dead βρίσκονται στη διαδικασία ηχογράφησης του πρώτου επίσημου άλμπουμ τους ενώ ταυτόχρονα δουλεύουν σε νέο υλικό. Apparently Dead is a Greek progressive, power metal band from Athens. The band was formed in 1988 playing thrash metal with influences from Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, etc., and later moved to a more progressive - power paths by following bands like Fates Warning, Savatage, Queensryche, Helloween etc.. They performed live in many concerts with famous bands of the Greek scene of that time as Flames, Deceptor, Epidemic, Sound of Silence, culminating in their participation in 1991 in the ten-day festival of Molon Labe Rec. Dissolved in 1998 and reunited in 2013 continued in the same pattern. The band so far failed to release a complete album. They made debut with the song "Where the sun never rises" in the collection of Molon Labe records "Screwing the sane" in 1991 and recorded two unreleased demos (1993 & 1997). Today Apparently Dead are in the process of recording of their first official album while working on new material.
